Microwave assisted extraction (MAE) at 110 C for 15 min resulted in both higher crude yield and higher total phenolic content (TPC) for all algae species compared with those obtained by conventional extraction at room temperature for 4 h, and Ascophyllum nodosum yielded the highest TPC. Antioxidant tests indicated that extracts acquired by MAE from four species all exhibited higher DPPH, ABTS free radical scavenging ability and reducing power than the conventional method.
Sometimes that’s simply not true. Many participants in James Arthur Ray’s sweat lodge spirit journeys were also told that their extreme dehydration and hallucinations were “good” as well, but it turned out they were on the verge of death. Indeed, three people died in his sweat lodge experiences, and James Ray was convicted of negligent homicide.
The paper concludes by examining a proposal that attempts to account for the explicit ordering between strata in terms of supervenience. We argue that this attempt fails to accurate describe inter stratal relations in the theory. Therefore, the basis of this ordering is in need of further investigation..
Why does this galaxy appear to be smiling? The answer might be because it has been holding a secret that astrophysicists have only now just uncovered: there are two count ’em two gigantic black holes inside this nearby galaxy, named Markarian 739 (or NGC 3758), and both are very active. While massive black holes are common, only about one percent of them are considered as active and powerful called active galactic nuclei (AGN). Binary AGN are rarer still: Markarian 739 is only the second identified within half a billion light years from Earth..
